After I reached the top of The Peak, I was amazed by the spectacular view of Hong Kong’s city skyline. Here you can see the world-famous Victoria Harbour, the urban area of Kowloon, peaceful green hillsides, and the soaring modern skyscrapers. Just beautiful!!!
Before lunch we toured the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, or HKEx in Hong Kong, a leading international financial centre. It’s exchanges and clearing houses serve a wide range of companies, investors and market intermediaries. They operate a securities market and a derivatives market in Hong Kong and the clearing houses for those markets. HKEx was listed in Hong Kong in 2000 and is now one of the world’s largest exchange owners based on the market capitalization of its shares.
This trip increased my awareness of international business and it’s functionalities! An amazing educational tour.
We stayed at a 4-star hotel in bustling Hong Kong and developed lasting network relationships.
We were given a very informative session on Helping Manage Opportunities and Challenges in China by Ms. Cherry Lee, Manager, Overseas Promotions. Ms. Lee also attended UCSB for a short period of time. IMproSolutions, LLC is currently in negotiations with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to bring our products and services to the Asian marketplace. Our goal is to connect worldwide through business education.
