Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock was left tearful after a range of her former leading men made speeches to honour the actress as she picked up the award for a Decade of Hotness award at the 2014 Guys Choice .
When it comes to awards speeches it is hard to find people being genuinely shocked but from the look on the face of Sandra Bullock during the presentation of her award for Decade of Hotness award at the 2014 Guys Choice she really was surprised by the former leading men who took to the stage to sing her praises with speeches.
As Sandra Bullock sat in the audience she was said to look shocked as blasts from her past took to the stage with their speeches about her and her acting skills.
First up was lovable English actor Hugh Grant who joined Sandra Bullock for the film Two Weeks Notice and then it was the turn of Keanu Reeves who joined her in the hit movie Speed.
He said in his speech “Sandra, your heart, your soul, your light, your talent that you share with all of us is amazing and wonderful and extraordinary,” the 49-year-old actor gushed. “You are one of a kind and you are definitely, definitely hot!”
Then it was the turn of star Matthew McConaughey who starred in A Time To Kill with Sandra Bullock. In his speech he said “Hi Sandy. I’ve worked with you. I’ve tried to kiss you, successfully and unsuccessfully. I’ve been directed by you, in a short film and also to the exit of many bars,” the 44-year-old actor, who was the Guys Choice Man of the Year, said of his former girlfriend. “Sandy, here is to your Decade of Hotness.”
Finally it was the turn of Sandra to make speech and the clearly moved actress said “It really should be Decade of Hot Mess– that I can own. I really do that well, and I’m still convinced that I’m here because someone dropped out. …They know I’m home on Saturday.”
Sandra Bullock added “I’d like to thank my style and makeup artist for creating this illusion. …I’m just one of the luckiest girls in the world.”
Before then turning to her fellow actors and concluding “Three of the people that I’m just so crazy about are right next to me.”
This was a speech which saw the power of including more than one speaker to make an impact. We can not all promise Hollywood actors to make an appearance during a speech but bringing in surprise speakers can make a real impact during any speech if you make sure that not only are they relevant but also emotionally connected to the subject.
